Two product assurance classes and a choice of case outlines and lead finishes are provided for each type and are reflected in the complete part number. For this product, the requirements of MIL-M-38510 have been superseded by MIL-PRF-38535, see 6.3.

NOTE:

At the manufacturer's option, the high level output voltage for the expanded inputs, may be verified by an alternate equivalent procedure. The procedure is to omit the -400 µA current source on pin 7 (Y) and to

connect a 6 k ± 1% resistor in parallel with a voltmeter between the output pin and ground. The VOH minimum limit is met if the resultant voltage drop across the resistor is greater than 2.4 V.
