11 At the manufacturer's option, the high level output voltage for the expanded inputs may be verified by use of an alternate equivalent procedure. The procedure is to omit the -400 µA current source on y output and connect a 6K ±1% ohm resistor in parallel with VOH voltmeter between the output pin and ground. The VOH minimum limit is met if the resultant voltage drop is greater than 2.4 V.
21 The high level output voltage test for the expander input may be verified by performing either test 3 or 3a.
