1/ At the manufacturer's option, the high level output voltage for the expanded inputs may be verified by use of an alternate equivalent procedure. The procedure
is to omit the -400 µA current source on Y output and connect a 6K ±1% ohm resistor in parallel with VOH voltmeter between the output pin and ground. The VOH
minimum limit is met if the resultant voltage drop is greater than 2.4 V.
2/ The high level output voltage test for the expander input may be verified by performing either test 5 or 5a.
3/ The low level output voltage test for the expander input may be verified by performing either test 12 or 12a.
